Responsibilities
-    For those who are interested in showcasing art, performing music, dance, or other dramatic performances as part of the official TEDxMcMasterU program.
-    The theme of the event is AMBITION. Bonus consideration will be given to acts which do have relevance to the theme, although it is not required.
-    There may be a post-event happy hour / coffee social event (2 - 3 hours in length) suitable for a musical act to perform in the background. Please indicate if you would be interested in providing musical accompaniment during the happy hour / coffee social.
-    Artists will be able to showcase their art around the event space as long as the art is free-standing and fits into the space (i.e., not adhered to walls).
-    Dancers / musicians / other performers will perform on stage or around the event space during dedicated segments of the day.

-    Bands / groups / troupes are welcome to apply.

-    If you are an established group or artist, you will be formally recognized as an official partner of TEDxMcMasterU.

Position Requirements
-    1+ year experience in your area of performing expertise.
-    Comfortable and confident performing in front of a crowd.
-    Demonstrated maturity and positive attitude.
-    Strong desire to put on a successful event.
-    Friendly, approachable, and collaborative personality.
